Very easy, the hardest part was breaking the screen, the square thing at the bottom has a little thing attached that seems to be called a digitizer or something anyway make sure you touch the screen before putting it back on. If that doesn't work, just wiggle the piece until it does. It was a huge process removing the motherboard and battery to get the digitizer. I just took wire cutters and cut off a piece of plastic that got in the way of putting it back in, you can't tell, and it saved me 30 or 40 minutes. . All in all, without screen removal with a hair dryer, it took 15 minutes. It took 40 minutes to remove the screen just because mine was broken in the corner you had to pry it off (top right I think) then follow the entire perimeter no need to be careful the digitizer tape on the old one breaks screen, i broke it as the new screen has one. I have 3 Fire 8 tablets that won't boot and this screen worked on the first one, now I just have to order two for the others and be golden. I recommend paying $60 to repair 3 tablets instead of paying $240 for 3 new tablets.
