I am 35 years old with a much older lower back. Due to years of physical work, wear and tear and a few genetic predispositions, my back is in pretty bad shape. I've been using plain copper tape for support for the past few years but it's starting to fray and stretch, it's time to replace it. I chose this one because it offers extra support and I love the idea of the extra tension I can put on it with the side straps. I've only been wearing it for a few days, but I notice an immediate correction in my posture and I feel well supported. I don't know how long I'll actually be using the gel pack that comes with it, but it's a good option. All in all so good so far and I'm happy with my purchase. I've even noticed that it helps straighten my right leg and keep it straight. It tends to turn outward naturally when walking/standing.
