good battery in batteries

I wanted to throw away my V-Tech phones as these are the days to carry a phone at home? We live in the world of mobile phones. Anyway, I pulled out a Google Voice number to use as my home phone number and tried my old V-Technology. These batteries worked just like a new phone system charging overnight and all looks fine.
