They were fine - they would be very good for those with piercings, especially older piercings that don't interfere with the stitching on the needle. The pins are nylon and I bought them because they are non-reactive and somewhat flexible. I figured they would be safer than the metal alternative for a child. I also liked the fact that they have long racks - it's easier to clean underneath. However, the caliber is larger than their standard earrings and I don't feel comfortable putting them in their ears. Some of the pins have a tiny plastic seam and some have adhesive from the shell when removed but on the downside they are cheap, the rhinestones appear to be well attached and they work great. in my ears Also, they arrived very quickly. I would buy from the seller again just not this item.
