The buyer needs to be prepared for what is to come. The tree looks great here on amazon.com, but when it comes to you, it will be far from what you see here. It is flattened, bent about 60 degrees, and is in a plastic bag. No instructions how to do it like the picture on amazon.com. Of course, it's easy to understand that you need to straighten the main trunk of the tree, and then straighten and arrange all the branches in a convenient order, but that wasn't what I expected. Despite the size of the box, the tree could be delivered ready to use. It took me a good hour to get the tree fluffed up and looking something like the picture on amazon.com. The wood I received seemed a little asymmetrical in the sense that all the berries and white sticks (don't know what they're supposed to be) were mostly on one side of the tree so I had to rotate some of them. around so they stick out somewhere else. There's also slightly less than enough light; I've added more. Pros: perfect size for a countertop or stove; very natural look; charming and moody; the base is heavy enough not to tip over. The end result is a really beautiful tree, but it took a lot of work on my part and it was unexpected. Expect a beautiful tree, but don't expect it straight out of the box.
