These glasses are designed in such a way that the temples only reach the temples. I have a pretty little bony woman and the arms only reach to my temples, just in front of my ears - in the hair just in front of the tip of my ears, and the design of the spongy pads is such that the pads get tangled in my temple hair and hook and pulls while the glasses gradually slip off. When they got into my cake batter I just threw them away. Otherwise they are pretty light and well made. But since they can't stay, they won't do me any good.
