The Arctis 1 comes with a very thin cable and I know it's likely to break over time. Although I am very careful with my electronics, accidents do happen. Sudden call and you pick up the headset and forget you have a controller plugged in and it pulls the headset type thing. The sound quality is ok, no problem. More importantly, they're made of rubber or plastic and are smooth on the outside, so they don't pick up noise from rubbing against clothing. I'm very happy with them and it's nice to get two packs but the quality is good so I doubt I'll ever need to use another.
