They work great and appear to be made of better materials. They worked on the sound and mic for my computer (zoom and team meetings and music), the Google Pixel phone with Bose headsets and the Playstation 4 (PS4).

I use this to extend my Astro A40 to its mixer. I didn't notice any difference in sound quality with this one. If you touch the metal body on the female end, you might hear a faint hiss through the headset, but that doesn't bother me as I don't have to touch it during use. Recommend this as I use it every day with no problems.

Works great. Helps expand my headset a bit as I often sit in my chair while gaming. It's long, but not super long. I love that it comes with a tiny velcro strap because I use it to shorten the cable, and the three rings on the adapter not only allow you to listen but also use your mic. I didn't initially know what the rings meant until my friend told me as my first cord was with 2 rings (would be coming back).

The Arctis 1 comes with a very thin cable and I know it's likely to break over time. Although I am very careful with my electronics, accidents do happen. Sudden call and you pick up the headset and forget you have a controller plugged in and it pulls the headset type thing. The sound quality is ok, no problem. More importantly, they're made of rubber or plastic and are smooth on the outside, so they don't pick up noise from rubbing against clothing. I'm very happy with them and it's nice to get
