Overall this thing worked well for my purpose of removing/loosening pet hair from my stairs before vacuuming. On first use, the metal part detached from the wooden handle, but I was able to easily glue it back on as none of the parts actually broke. I have 3 large fluffy dogs and a cat so there is always something to grab here. I hate vacuuming the stairs so I only do it once a week but the rest of the house needs vacuuming at least 2 times a week. The first photo is the hair removed from my stairs after 1 week between uses. Although I have a decent ladder; There are 17 steps and they are big because of the curve. Every bit I can get up is a plus so I will continue to use this product. I would have given 5 stars if the handle hadn't fallen apart.
