Review on πŸ‘ž Capezio 'E' Series EJ2C Jazz Slip On Shoes (Little Kid/Big Kid) by Clint Blackman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fantastic and true to size!

My daughter received them dangerously close to the first competition of the season and after reading the reviews I was afraid they would be tiny. Our local dance shop is very popular. To be on the safe side, I ordered them half a size larger than my usual shoe size. They arrived and fit great leaving a little room to grow. I think a lot of people think that dance shoes should have room to grow when in reality they need to be worn snugly. Materials also weaken over time. I would say they fit true to size and I'm glad I didn't go multiple sizes as suggested because they wouldn't fit properly. A few days later, I ended up at a dance store to buy my other daughter some new ballet flats. They've been known to increase in size and this is driving our studio owner insane! However, they told me something interesting. My oldest daughter is 2.5 inches in street shoes. They said they always go straight to women's size 4 once they go over size 2. I'm not sure why, but maybe that's why so many people recommended going for a size 2? My daughter chose size 4 women's flats and they fit snugly with no room to grow.
