I ordered this replacement face interface because I wanted to be able to wipe down and sanitize the padding on the headband and face brace after use. (The thought of sharing a headset with friends and family without being able to clean it afterwards was an unsettling thought.) After a search that seemed like too long, I stumbled across this product and decided to give it a try. I didn't like other replacement parts that didn't come with replacement stays because I didn't want to ruin the included foam padding, I wanted to replace it. There were two face pads in the box with this AMVR kit, a spare face support. , two interchangeable headgear pads and two interchangeable headgear mounts. There was also a card with a QR code to watch YouTube videos after installation. The video was easy to watch and I had the face mount and headgear pad replaced while watching the video. A few notes from my installation experience: 1. Pay attention to the video and the direction in which the various pads are removed. Direction is important to facilitate removal.2. It seemed to me that the face mount came off more easily if I tugged quickly and forcefully at the points shown in the video. At first I tried to be gentler and it wouldn't budge. When installing replacement brackets, pay attention to how this is done in the video. Headbands in particular are easier to put on if you start in the middle and work your way outwards. Finally, the padding is comfortable but feels different than standard foam. It also adds weight to the headset and changes the distance of the lenses from your eyes. You may need to adjust the distance between lenses after installing new lens caps to get a better viewing experience. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my first impression of the repackaging.
