We installed this unit in our home. Wow. Wonderful. The most relaxing and fun shower you can imagine. I dream of stepping into the shower every night to let the waterfall wash away the stress of the day. Just a warning about that. If the unit you received includes in-wall copper pipe bushings/adapters, inspect them or have your contractor/plumber/plumber inspect them and replace them with parts purchased in America and designed for use in the United States USA are intended. Only older models contain these European parts. In Europe they don't use so-called Teflon tape. They use hemp strap which is a more durable product and requires the bushings/adapters to have indentations to hold it in place. In the US, these indentations on the sockets/adapters will cut through the "Teflon" tape and cause leaks in your plumbing system. The company no longer includes these dome parts in products sold in the US, but if you buy an older unit that includes European jacks/adapters, you will experience leakage. We were lucky enough to find our leaks when it was still possible to replace the sockets/adapters with American ones and before water damage occurred. We have noticed that there are complaints in this company's product reviews on other sites that people have had leaks from this company in the past. We suspect this difference in installation requirements between Europe and the US was an issue with jacks/adapters sold with early product lines.
