Review on πŸ§₯ The North Face Men’s Apex Bionic 2 DWR Softshell Hooded Jacket: Ultimate Weather-Resistant Outerwear for Men by Thasapon Bowers

I wanted to love so bad

The North Face never let me down until I ordered the Apex Bionic 2 Hoodie. I loved the color and look of this jacket. The weight was perfect, heavy enough for the low 50's. However, the landing was terrible. I'm 6ft 2in, 180lbs, imagine a T-Rex, long legs/torso and small arms, that's me. The jacket looked like I was wearing a crop top (I ordered a large one like all my other TNF jackets) When I raised my hands the bottom of the jacket went over my stomach! Oh well! It sat very high on my chest, the collars were on my face and just didn't fit. The material was semi-rigid and doesn't fold/move well (Note: I haven't washed it, I'm pretty sure it helps the material relax.) Even adjusting the waist ties, every time I go moved, opened a gap somewhere and missed some cool air. Air, to the point where I didn't feel like I was wearing a jacket anymore. TNF offers this jacket in the tall model, but without the hoodie! Materials and construction are what you would expect from TNF. If TNF offered this jacket at (THE HOODIE) at Tall, I would wear it in a heartbeat. Also, where are the adjustable wrist straps? It's disappointing, especially when this jacket is sold for wind and rain.
