I wanted a slightly larger jacket. That's great. I get compliments on that all the time. It works great between weather days in the Seattle area. I only wear a waterproof snowboard coat when the temperature drops below 40 and it's raining. If it's a clear day it's great until the frost!

There are a few disappointing details. First, the retail label and fabric label sizes do not match, the retail label says "S" and the fabric label says "M" (I bought the size "S"). Second, the product itself came in poor condition, that doesn't look right looks like it was damaged in shipping but the fabric looks worn and old even with small holes in the product.

Surprisingly, there are no reviews for this fleece jacket yet. However, I originally bought a hoodless zip-up jacket and decided to go with a hooded jacket and I'm glad I did. This jacket is waterproof and has a thin layer of warm fleece on the inside. It's not an active fit, but when worn it feels like it's similar to this style, even with a furry guy. It keeps you surprisingly warm and the hood and collar keep moisture out. I recommend it for wet and snowy days!

I wore this jacket for over a week while visiting New York, NY. The built-in hood was an escape from the New York wind and rain. Without an umbrella, I could walk in the rain without getting wet. I ordered a size larger than usual to be able to walk around New York. And goes great with the adjustable waist which I never had to use. The North Face never let me down until I ordered the Apex Bionic 2 Hoodie. I loved the color and look of this jacket. The weight was perfect, heavy enough for the low 50's. However, the landing was terrible. I'm 6ft 2in, 180lbs, imagine a T-Rex, long legs/torso and small arms, that's me. The jacket looked like I was wearing a crop top (I ordered a large one like all my other TNF jackets) When I raised my hands the bottom of the jacket went over my stomach! Oh well!
