The picture quality isn't terrible. It's expected to be able to use 1080p, but settling for 720 isn't the worst. The brightness on this thing is extreme. I use this monitor to connect to an Xbox One and have had to turn the brightness down to the minimum every game, but it's still very bright. and without the ability to change the brightness settings, this is a very poor buy. The photo/video quality is not bad. Brightness makes it completely unusable
