Just installed but very disappointed.
I expected a 1.25 inch bracket can be attached to a 1.25 inch steel steel rod, nice and strong. This crazy setup requires a strip of styrofoam wrapped around the pipe and the clamp attached. I bought it to hold the radio, but it doesn't stand up to the pressure of a UTV ride and stays in place. I will look for the best set.
