More sustainable alternative to bandages

PATCH bandages are a great, environmentally friendly alternative to the staples in every home first aid kit. In my view they are just as good as regular bandages but better for the environment (compostable, biodegradable). The adhesive isn't the strongest, but it's decent enough to stay in place all day and even withstand downpours at times. The only problem I had was under my jeans when I had a knee injury; The denim's thick fabric moved the bandage, but I had no problem when in thighs and leggings. However, the bandages can be easily removed. I can wear dressings for hours without irritating the skin around the wound or damaging it with "glue". The material is breathable, comfortable and stretches enough to move freely. Those are just additional traits, but I didn't feel like they really did anything special or speed up wound healing. I have not noticed any stains on skin or clothing from charcoal. The dressing material is completely black. The one size available is a classic fit for most small sores, but I only wish the brand expanded to include a wider variety of shapes and sizes. The bandages come in a study box which looks very nice, I actually plan to reuse it for small pieces and beans after I've used up all the bandages. They're pretty expensive, but I don't get cuts and scrapes that often either; If you remove the bandages quickly, this is not an inexpensive alternative.
