These gloves are not waterproof. They are waterproof. I wore them on an 8 mile hike uphill with rocks on snow in 20 degrees. I will say that they are super comfortable and flexible. I had to pull and push myself up a lot of snowy rocks. These gloves dry very quickly when you're constantly shaking off snow. If they lie in the snow for even a minute, they will get wet inside and out. After a few hours outdoors, my hands got colder, but not cold with gloves on. If they stay wet for a long time, water will seep in. They are great for short trips or moderate use but are not designed for heavy use and NOT WATERPROOF! Still, it's 4 stars for comfort, small finger pockets that make the phone easy to use, and it can be used in the snow. I wouldn't wear them on night rides.
