Review on Sony MDRZX100 ZX Series Stereo Headphones (White) by Sherita Dixon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They are comfortable and hold up very well, but if you have a large head be careful

NEW EDIT: Never underestimate the value of their pivoting style. I didn't realize until I bought another type how much more comfortable they are than any other I've used. EDIT: I'm deducting a star because of something I discovered recently. They're still great headphones for the money, no doubt about that, but one of their downsides is that over time and with fairly regular use, the top will stretch and loosen, after which the earbuds no longer cover the ears well. For people with small heads, this MIGHT NOT be such a big deal, but some of my loved ones who use them have pretty big heads. We still manage to use them for quite a while before it becomes a problem. My husband and son have been using headphones for years and the husband had a habit of going to the store and buying the cheapest headphones he could find and then within 3 months the cables broke and he came up with another 10- Dollar bill in the store back hand. This went on for several years, and by the end he probably threw away a few hundred dollars on unnecessary headphones. I told him there was a better way to do things, but he wouldn't listen to me. I finally decided I'd had enough and my research led me to this one. I've now bought a pair of everyone I know who uses headphones and just ordered a second one for my husband because he wants to use them in place of his headphones while listening to his MP3 player while he works in his shop. Husband uses his first pair with his laptop, our son uses them daily on his desktop, I used mine on desktop and use them daily on my laptop and another uses them exclusively on a boombox. They might not have the best sound quality in the world, but they're also comfortable on big heads and hold up well. I think if someone wants average budget headphones, you can't go far wrong with them.
