Sony MDRZX100 ZX Series Stereo Headphones (White) Review

I liked these headphones so much I bought an extra pair after owning the previous ones for over three years. Unfortunately, new ones break much faster than old ones. The padding is peeling and crumbling after a few months, rendering the headphones unusable. I have to throw out new ones, see the attached photos. The new looking couple are over three years old and the ugly couple were bought six months ago.

The third pair of these headphones! Why? Because I need headphones at work, at home, and in my backpack to listen to my phone while I wait for my son to finish his swim class. I almost NEVER write reviews but these headphones are amazing. Very light weight and great sound. I'm not a quality expert, but I do enjoy listening to audio books and all genres of music. These headphones tick all the boxes. I would pay double what they charge. Take her! You will love them.

NEW EDIT: Never underestimate the value of their pivoting style. I didn't realize until I bought another type how much more comfortable they are than any other I've used. EDIT: I'm deducting a star because of something I discovered recently. They're still great headphones for the money, no doubt about that, but one of their downsides is that over time and with fairly regular use, the top will stretch and loosen, after which the earbuds no longer cover the ears well.
