Didn't expect this to work

Purchased to find a persistent AC leak. After moving the detectors around the AC components for just 5 minutes, it started beeping faster around the high pressure connector. I installed a Dorman brass fitting in the port to prevent leakage so I was confused. Sprayed some soapy water on the port and it gushed out of the port's outer shell. A small crack is visible. The leak was not from the internal ball valve. I've ordered a new high pressure fitting, let's hope the leaks are over. Astro-Van from 2000. But if I had used soapy water to check for leaks first, I wouldn't need this sniffer. Update - high pressure working valve is not cracked. The leak came from the O-ring. I managed to tighten the top side valve - there are no more bubbles. Good luck fixing it. smiles.
