I have had these shoes for a number of years now and have always been very happy with these shoes. This time is not so much. I bought them to wear for a trip that was supposed to last about a month. I noticed that after only two weeks of wear (rather than every day) the sides of the shoe started to crack and flap. I was surprised. I don't know what's wrong with these shoes because when I got home the exact pair was from my closet which is 3 years old and still fits my foot perfectly. I had to take the old couple with me on the trip as I would have been better off and much more comfortable. If I buy these shoes again they are there so I can return the shoes if the same thing happens. Shoes should not break after a few weeks.
