I bought my 8 year old daughter a starry sky umbrella, she really likes it. It has an auto open button and an auto close button. The "Close" button folds the umbrella, but in order to fully close the main shaft, it needs to be squeezed, and it is not easy to move. So far it has withstood opening and closing, so I appreciate its durability. The only thing to keep in mind when buying this adult umbrella is that it has a short center pole - you have to hold it up. It's light though, so if the weight puts you off because of the short bar, that's no big deal.
