Not exactly what I was hoping for.
I had hoped that this would hold my small MacBook Air but it only would if I put it in sideways. After doing so, it was too heavy to stay under the mattress. A rubber backing would be a great idea rather than the rather slippery hard plastic backing on the portion that fits between your mattress and boxspring. I kept it anyway as it does keep a variety of things off my bedside nightstand.
