I looked through many baby masks before finding this one and have now ordered a second set as they are perfect. I didn't like that many children's masks made it difficult to breathe. I'm sick enough that my preschooler has to wear masks for now, I don't want thick fabrics to make it difficult for him to breathe. They're lightweight, the ear pads are comfortable and adjustable, and they fit him perfectly. Suitable for older children as the straps are adjustable. They have been washed many times and are holding up perfectly. However, we wash our masks in the protective mesh bag that comes with the masks (a nice touch) and tumble dry on low for about 7 minutes. For the reviewers who complain, I suspect they're drying them at a high temperature, which will obviously destroy them like any thin polyester material. They can also be hand washed and dry fairly quickly (less than 24 hours). I cannot recommend them enough. We looked through many different products before we found them!
