First you have to start with the right bike seat and then look for cycling shorts. These are well made shorts and a very reasonable price. I am 220 pounds, 6'1" tall, 36" waist. I bought the large and it fits perfectly, just the right size. Don't be afraid of these bike shorts. The quality of these shorts seems very good so far. The best part is that the padding is in the right place and they are very comfortable when riding. I've only done a few 2 hour 30 mile rides so far but they've already made a huge difference in comfort. I can't say anything about the durability yet, but I don't see any reason to worry.
