When I first tried this dress on my daughter it was so tight she could hardly breathe! So sent it back and got the next size up. It was still small, but doable. It's very cheaply made. (The first dress had a hole in the side when it arrived) and the second dress has a seam that doesn't actually connect to the fabric at the bottom. Another very annoying fact about this baby dress is that it can only be dry cleaned! Who makes kids clothes that can only be dry cleaned?! This is probably because they fear it will fall apart in normal washing due to poor construction. My final criticism of this dress is the bodice. If you tie it where it's supposed to be tied, your child will keep blinking all the time. I ended up tying it higher and that solved the problem but it was very awkward because of the ruffles around my neck. Save money and get rid of the headache and buy another dress!
