I slipped off the top step of my porch (ice) and landed my right foot on the concrete at a depth of 4 feet. The pain was so instant and intense. I broke my toe, sprained my ankle, tore all my ligaments and almost tore my Achilles tendon. It happened a month ago. About agony. The doctor said he would heal in 2 weeks. I kept spraining my ankle with that monster boot. It was too heavy to carry to bed. I ordered an overnight tire from the home health store. It was made from an eggshell mattress pad with velcro around it! It cost more than that and it was a joke. My foot and the back of my leg still hurt. I kept hurting them. I ordered it to wear at home. Outside, it's stronger than a hospital boot. The interior is designed for absolute comfort and durability for sleeping and relaxing. It is so strong that you cannot re-injure your ankle or foot at all. It does exactly what it was designed to do with added comfort for your foot and leg. Now I can heal properly so I can come back to life. Being disabled is terrible. That's the real deal. The outer layer is made of the same medical grade material as the orthopedic boot but is cheaper.
