Description of 🌙 Pro-Tec Athletics Night Time Splint

General Application: To alleviate pain in the arch and heel area. Medical Application: To relieve symptoms of plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. In addition, may relieve symptoms of peroneal and tibial nerve entrapment. How It Works: To be worn during inactivity (sleeping), the Pro-Tec Night Splint gently stretches the plantar fascia ligament, promoting flexibility. By increasing flexibility of the plantar fascia ligament, the likelihood of further strain or tearing is decreased, enhancing the healing process. Design Theory: Terrycloth cover slips over a polypropylene shell, keeping the foot in comfortable dorsiflexion. Removable heel wedge raises toes, increasing stretch slightly. Adjustable ankle strap holds heel deep into heel cup portion of brace. IT WORKS OUT! with Braces, Splints and Supports

I was having severe pain (like a heel spur) on the underside of one heel. Every morning when I wake up or in the middle of the night I can't walk. I hate doctors and don't go unnecessarily but I bought this in hopes it would help. After sleeping those 4 hours one night, I literally noticed a difference. An even bigger difference after you get 5 more hours of sleep the next night. The pain is still there but I'm on the third day. It's really wonderful, I'm so happy with this purchase. By the…

NO MORE CURRENT CLIPS!

This boot changed my life. My husband had lower back surgery a few years ago and has had severe spasms and cramps in his calf muscles ever since. Naturally, to the point where he jumped out of bed 4-6 times a night, his quality of life was depleted. He's been sleeping through the night since we bought this boot. His foot and toe stay straight so his leg is no longer locked. This boot is quite chunky but seems to move well in it and fits the 14EW foot. I would recommend this or something similar

Not Very Useful - Leg and Foot Brace

This brace is designed to help stretch the muscles in the sole of the foot to relieve pain from plantar fasciitis. I wore it for several weeks. Firstly, this thing was hard to sleep in, it's quite bulky. I got used to it after a few days, but then in the second week the back of my heel started to hurt - probably from lying on it all night. I stopped using it and had to treat the pain which was actually quite severe. In the end I never felt like it helped and then I encountered another problem…

Boots hurry! for orthoses, splints and bandages

I've had a PF for several years and it definitely won't go away. I wanted to try the fixation option but was concerned about the integrity of the velcro. I thought I'd spend a few euros more. But I can't even continue with that. It's so painful! I have neuropathy in my legs and my legs still kill me trying to put it on. And the middle strap is bloody awful. I have old ankle injuries and the middle strap killed my ankles. I didn't get any relief and my leg wasn't even supported. I come back…

Good comfort, decent weight but a few design issues

The corset is comfortable and didn't cause me pressure concerns (which is very important) and the weight is decent (also important). However, I have two main design issues: First, it's the straps. Due to the fact that Velcro is attached, it's quite difficult to detach. Another problem is the pad under the forefoot, which bends the foot more than 90 degrees in dorsiflexion. The problem is that it is permanent and cannot be removed, making the brace unusable for some. Not suitable for me at the…

Fits me well: orthoses, splints and bandages

I've had terrible plantar fasciitis for about 8 months. After about six weeks of wearing a night splint (both at night and when sitting for long periods of time during the day), my foot finally feels normal again. However, when I first tried the pro-tec splint on, I almost sent it back because it bent my toes back too much. I read the instructions and found that you can remove the cap and take out the foam wedge that was causing the toe problem (which I did). I then used a foam wedge over the…

The best little investment you could ever make when you need it!

I slipped off the top step of my porch (ice) and landed my right foot on the concrete at a depth of 4 feet. The pain was so instant and intense. I have to wear very heavy shoes (Fred Munster) by an orthopedist priced at $312. I twisted my leg to one side and my leg to the other. I broke my toe, sprained my ankle, tore all my ligaments and almost tore my Achilles tendon. It happened a month ago. About agony. The doctor said he would heal in 2 weeks. I kept spraining my ankle with that monster…
