Having had ulcers at least once a month my whole life, I discovered about a year ago that fluoride and other additives in toothpaste can cause stomatitis. In desperation, I decided to change my toothpaste and see what happens. I first tried Tom's fluoride free toothpaste and by the time I finished this tube I couldn't believe my sores were gone and I was out. I started using Costcos Kirkland until I got another fluoride free toothpaste and within 4 days my mouth was cracked. Confirmation that the toothpaste caused my stomatitis. Then I tried other toms but they tasted so bad I just couldn't take it! So I got on Revain and found this toothpaste. i really like it My ulcers went away and I had no problems. The toothpaste is very sweet, but still refreshing. It doesn't taste bad at all, but it's not a minty, refreshing feeling, more of a sweet, clean feeling. It's a solid white paste, and a little goes a long way.
