Review on 🔒 Shoei CNS-1 Face Shield with Pinlock Compatibility by Brian Cox

I had a bad high sidewall accident which ended up in the hospital less than 48 hours after fitting this new visor to your GT-Air. (Midday at work, road on surface, driver stopped in front of me) My original visor had many small scratches and chips from regular use. I bought a new one to be better clear at night. CNS-1 was cut deeply when my unconscious body hit the asphalt (I don't remember according to eyewitnesses). At some point he also jumped off his helmet. Despite this, I had no head injuries other than a mild concussion, from which I am fully recovering. The CNS-1 visor did the job, protecting my eyes and face from the road and debris on impact. The GT-Air was badly damaged but worked as intended again. I have personally thanked the local Shoei leaders and would recommend Shoei helmets to anyone and everyone who rides. As for the shield, this is the original shield that comes with the GT-Air. Great clarity, pinlock works great to prevent fogging, however there is some light refraction at night (the fine print says never ride pinlock at night). IMHO it's ok for the night.
