I bought a pair of these shoes during the Allen Edmonds Spring sale after trying them on at Prime Wardrobe. I gradually phased them out over the course of a month and started wearing them for a longer period of time. As I was queuing for communion at church on Sunday morning, I began to hear my right foot creaking, and every time I took a step, it was my shoe. It eventually stopped but continued from time to time when I was in public or at home. I sent the shoes back to Allen Edmonds and they told me I would probably have to keep wearing them and it would stop, but this is the first time I have had a problem with Allen Edmonds shoes as a customer. It used to be one of the best shoe brands when it was made by skilled workers in Wisconsin, but since it was bought by a large corporation the quality has declined and the classic styles have died out. fell.
