Dude the 303 is having a good time at least - just washed and dried my truck (big F250 4x4 crew cab so I'm pushing it open), everything dried and put microfiber cloths in the wash. The postman came and brought a package that I wasn't expecting today. Wow, that's a 303 tire balm! And here I am with clean dry gum! Well, let's try. I have used regular 303 Protectant (formerly called Aerospace Protectant) on my tires because I like the low gloss matte finish. The problem was that I often let wind through to avoid accidental splatters on paint and trim. It wouldn't hurt, it was just unsightly. I wasn't sure if I wanted to use a cloth instead. This is very easy to apply and spread well. It's definitely a liquid, but it's sticky and sticky so it won't run off when you apply it. I did all four hoops in a fairly short amount of time and let them dry before returning to the review. First the good: I like the gloss level. My tires had been neglected for a while, had a lot of brake dust and were a bit dark, so I cleaned them with a fairly concentrated Chemical Guys wheel cleaner. So they were really dry and there was no bandage left on them at all. Tire Balm 303 gave them a nice black gloss with no residual brown. Now for the not so good ones: maybe because they were actually so dry and soaked up a lot of product, I ended up getting a lot of streaks. I'll go back and reapply and see if that helps and makes a big difference in the shine level. But overall I am very happy with the product and look forward to continuing to use it. Has a pleasant smell. I can't tell, maybe grapes? And easy to clean hands and applicator with warm soapy water. I've never had a tire change for as long as I think so I don't have unrealistic expectations but we'll see what happens.
