I bought these for my 4 year old who is almost 5 now and is growing like weeds. He tends to wear shoes like crazy and is very picky about shoes and has wider feet. The collar of the boot or whatever you put your foot in is stretchy unlike other shoes where it's stiff and you have to tuck your toe in the back to pull it up. This made it easier to put on baby shoes2. The material of the shoe is nice overall, it's nice but not really mesh-like or stiff, allowing my little manly feet to slip out when needed.3. shoelaces. I love how they came laced up. Most shoes have a zig zag lacing method and I constantly tighten and loosen them to get my son's shoes to fit properly. You don't need this. They lace up and down each side, leaving the middle loose and not looking like his shoes squeeze.4. Durability - so far so good and my kid is rough with shoes. He loves walking in the corn fields and playing in the haystacks and so far they have held up and no problem I would highly recommend a purchase for your little one. I did but my son is a size too big for him just so he can grow on them and maybe last a little longer but they are true to size and the money point is great too.
