Review on Refectocil Cream Hair Dye 5Oz by Katie Owens

Refectocil Red alone would have seemed too light to me, but it worked well when mixed with Light Brown. It's almost perfect for my strawberry copper hair! I only used a very small amount of red, probably a 5:1 tan to red (and this mixture was then mixed 1:1 with Refectocil 10 volume/3% developer which is sold separately). A little red is enough and was necessary to get the desired light chestnut color. This paint hardens very quickly, so you need to keep track of time. The first time I applied the tint I left it on for less than five minutes but it was still too dark so I wiped it off and then reapplied Refectocil Blonde Brow mixed 1:1 with the same oxidizer and left it 3 to Soak for 4 minutes. And voila – the perfect color! This was my first time getting my brows tinted permanently and it was a good experience. I found it helpful to have both the Blonde Brow Tint and the Bleach on hand. If I accidentally leave the bleach or toner on for too long, the color can be corrected immediately.
