Review on AXTRA 8-Outlet Metal Surge Protector Power Strip with USB Charging Port πŸ’‘ and 9-Foot Extension Cord - Ultimate Protection for Home, Office, and School [ETL Listed] by Luke Hodes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This metal surge arrester with eight outlets is designed for harsh environments.

I live in Florida which is notorious for power issues, so using a well-designed shield is a disaster that can be very costly given my investment in the protected hardware. My room has very few outlets and my problem is that I had a lot of electronics. This outlet surge protector kept my devices powered and freed up my bulky cords. This power strip and surge protector is very well designed. The three-prong plug fits snugly into the outlet. It powers and protects a home media center in the basement with a TV, printer, network switch and maybe one day a game console will have a decent surge protector. The outlet spacing works for what I need it for. I see some people have complained about the distance between the outlets. 1800 J to protect sensitive electronics from overvoltage. This power strip offers you 8 sockets within reach in addition to 2 USB ports. The illuminated switch contains a built-in circuit breaker. The looks of the AXTRA combine solid performance with a tough, practical body. Its veneer appears to be built to withstand most minor scratches and scrapes. It's compact enough to tuck under a bed or entertainment center, and the holes in the back allow it to be installed on a baseboard. Its 9ft thick rubberized cord makes it easy to route under bookshelves and sofas. Electronics and all other electrical power sources for the home or office can handle much higher peak voltages for short periods of time, which you logically need to identify. because small overvoltages are common and electronic devices in households without overvoltage protection do not fail permanently; These are big spikes that need to be blocked. The main thing we like about it is that it's actually listed in the ETL. and that there is an LED indicator that tells you if the protector is still protecting properly and if it is properly grounded. With all the technology, we use countless electronic devices in our home. A person uses at least 4 devices, laptop, phone, tablet, headphones, so there are never enough outlets at home, but with this product, my brother and I no longer fight for outlets. This eight outlet metal surge arrester is designed to provide safe and reliable surge protection in harsh environments. It can protect connected devices from destructive surges, surges and line noise. Heavy-duty surge protection features include a rugged metal housing that can withstand the harshest of environments. Built-in keyholes at the bottom allow for convenient wall mounting. Keyhole mounting, high surge protection, rugged housing, and multiple outlets. If the devices you want to connect exceed the ratings (1875 watts or more than 15 amps) for this product, then this power strip is not for you.
