I bought this to connect to my MacBook Pro 13 for an upcoming trip and didn't want to mess up my monitors and all those cables. I saw an ad for it after talking to a colleague about it and I had to have it. First I want to say that it is very convenient, seriously, only two cords? You have one cable from the extended monitor to the laptop and one cable to power the laptop. It will die quickly if you didn't connect power, took about 20 minutes. Do they have any drivers that need to be installed? It would be nice if it was plug and play. The picture quality is okay, it's only 1080p. I work on spreadsheets most of my day and I had a hard time seeing some of the text in Excel, but it's not terrible, it got better after some tweaking, but personally I think I need to get something bigger and try 2k . Let's talk about the size of this item. It's quite bulky and heavy but what can you expect, it has 2 monitors, a pocket for your laptop screen and a cool little stand. What I really don't like is the adjustability of the screens. Turn her more towards you, I just couldn't get it to where I was comfortable. All in all, it's actually a really great mechanism and a cool concept, but not very practical for my needs.
