Received the New Covenant Tallit Prayer Shawl quickly. It was packed very carefully and reverently, with no defects. That is beautiful. It contained accurate and important information about the historical significance and use of the tallit, as well as information specifically about this messianic prayer shawl tallit. There was absolutely no smell and it looked spotless but I decided to wash the scarf and storage bag. I did this with the hand wash cycle of my washing machine. This setting offers minimal agitation, cold water, gentle spin, and I used Woolite liquid detergent. The scarf and storage bag are as perfect as after washing, no damage or color. I folded it and air dried it on a large hanger. It has a few small creases and I can test it on a small spot with a warm iron, but the creases are minor and I don't mind. I am very happy with this purchase and the seller at Holy Land Market.
