I'm a fan of Chaco sandals. A long time ago I bought and wore a pair of Chaco Z1 Classic Sport men's sandals. (The Z1 Classic wears like iron, so the soles of the sandals took a long time to wear out.) Then I bought and still buy a second pair. They're strong and if I'm not mistaken they're designed for rafting, so getting them wet isn't a problem. I decided to try these new Chaco Men MEGA Z Cloud Sport sandals because they are advertised as being softer and I thought it would be a good idea as the classic sandals are durable but a bit stiff if you have to stand in one spot . on cement. The new Cloud Sport sandals are as advertised. They are definitely softer so walking and standing on a very hard surface like cement is more comfortable. The straps appear to be a bit wider than on the Classic and fit my feet even better. I plan to wear these Cloud Sport sandals around town and the Z1 Classic in tougher conditions. IMHO you can't go wrong with the classic Chaco Z1 or the Chaco MEGA Z Cloud sandals. I wear shoe size 10.5. usually and have narrow legs. 10 fits me perfectly and stays on until you want to take them off. One note is that when the box was first opened, the Cloud sport sandals had a strong rubber/plastic smell, like they had just been made. I left them outside for two days and the smell was gone. It reminded me of a time when I bought new tires that were just being made and gave off a strong new tire smell for a short time. I believe the sandals I received were made just before I received them.
