Wanted to remove wiring and get rid of two devices to switch two monitors between 4 computers (actually only 3 but nice to have one available for later). Anyway, used TESmart which was "better" but it was supposed to switch a monitor. In this case I get up to 10 seconds delay when switching, sometimes a monitor won't turn on. Sometimes, except for the lag, otherwise it works fine. Sometimes I get screens turning off and on again, with app shuffling accompanying it. I've only been using it for a week and it's bugging me a bit. There is one feature that this device seems to be missing - EDID (emulator). Yes, this will either be returned or given away. EDID emulation - a feature of some KVMs that keeps ports active so they know which monitor is connected - emulates the monitor even if it switches to a different set of ports. In short, I had repeated switching. Screens where one day a screen will be number 1 and next time can be number 1 or number 2. 10 seconds to switch. A specific screen is not recognized when turning on or waking up. After prolonged use - I sometimes have this screen blanking issue where the monitor goes blank for a few seconds, then it comes back, then it will go blank and again etc.). Setup is not difficult. The optics of the devices are good. Features - room for improvement. Keyboard hotkey feature - inconvenient as it requires a row of 4 keys to switch between any monitors.
