Amazing - Temperature and Humidity

So here's the top tip if you're a bit of a jerk like me. The lens cap has to be removed before this thing works. To be honest, the instruction manual is folded in such a way that it's easy to skip the first page, but I endured 15 minutes of frustration and confusion as to why the optical camera was working so well, while the thermal image showed up as a dull pink mass, never mind where I sent them. However, it took about 14 minutes longer than it took me to notice the lens circuit breaker. My excuse is that I'm tired. I've been using the HIKMICRO Mini1 Android phone camera for a few months now and I'm honestly very happy with it. I couldn't see why I would need a $500 dedicated thermal camera when the Mini1 did a great job at $300 and did it with a big screen (depending on your phone of course). Expecting to use the B10 a few times before it grew bored, I returned to my Mini1 for a much more practical and compact option. I was 100% wrong. The Mini1 is a great kit, don't get me wrong, but the B10 beats it by miles. First, the 256x192 IR camera is better than the Mini1's 160x120. I thought the B10's small 3.2-inch display might be a step below the 5.8-inch screen on my Google Pixel 4A with the Mini1 attached, but no. The much better IR resolution more than makes up for the downside of the smaller screen size, allowing me to see the fine details of air leaks around window frames much more clearly. In addition, the 4 picture modes that the B10 offers are very practical. Unless I've just missed an option in the menu, the Mini1 only records in thermal mode, while the B10 lets you view the image in optical, thermal, fusion or PiP. PiP doesn't bring me much, but both visually and combined are great additions. If you need to mark cold spots along the way, they're much easier to find in merge mode. It's still early days and I'm still playing with the features, but this is already a 5 star device. I love it.
