Review on SWDZM Ballroom Practice Performance Heel 1 38 Women's Shoes and Athletic by Marc Farrell

I bought these shoes for ballroom dancing. They are designed to be light weight and are mainly used for practice. Personally they are not attractive enough to be used for performances. I bought two sizes to see which fits best. I usually wear a size 8 shoes, sometimes 8 1/2, so due to the measurements I ordered an 8 and 7 1/2. I found the size 8 to be comfortable but a bit roomy in the toe and upper. There was extra fabric on top and even though I laced it up tight, my feet felt like they were floating in these shoes and they looked bigger and wider on my feet than a size 7 1/2. I prefer the 7 1/2 fit; Although they were a bit short at the toes, the shoe was slimmer and more attractive overall. Most dance shoes should be slightly shorter and narrower to give you more support. So far they've held up well. I've been dancing in it several times a week for the past few months. In general I am satisfied with the purchase.
