Here's the truth: Headlight Assemblies, Parts & Accessories

1) You look as great as you think you do. 2) You're as bad a fit as people say. Reason, but if you're handy and have patience you can get amazing looking lights for little money. I ended up transplanting the original headlight mounts to the new headlights. Bracket ONLY, no set screws. Yes, that means you have to loosen a few small screws and even drill a few small holes to get the new set screws to match the old brackets. This also required sawing and cutting the plastic to allow the adjustment screw to fit snugly in the bracket. Once you attach the old mount to the new mount, it will snap into place. It took at least 30 minutes per light. The only issue with the bottom lights is that the nose of the bracket that slides into the car is a bit high. You can either file it down so it's shorter, or you can file down the plastic slot on the machine so it's a little taller. I submitted a car as it is much easier. However, you have to get it right or it will be too loose and won't stay in the slot. I made that mistake on the first one and had to use a small screw to hold it in place. Time will tell if they hold up but so far they look great. As long as yours aren't broke and you're smart, I'd say go for it.
