I'm by no means an audio expert but I make YouTube videos with voice acting and was looking for a microphone to replace my Deity VMic D3 Pro, not that it wouldn't be a great microphone, I just wanted something I didn't have internal Battery I had to charge or risked muting in the middle of a recording. This Synco Mic-D2 sounds fantastic. It's mostly neutral and natural-sounding, meaning you can add any processing you want after recording. Pros: Great price. Good sound. Excellent build quality. Excellent case and packaging. Sturdy yet fairly light. Cons: Slightly more expensive than my Deity mic (but worth the extra cost) I'm very impressed with this class of mic at this price point. I've heard it compares very well to the Sennheiser 416 which I don't own due to its cost.
