Review on 🎧 Surface Headphones by Microsoft by Jim Dahl

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality and well thought out product.

I mainly use it for work. My setup is a MacBook Pro and an Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S8). My office has an open plan concept, so it can be a little distracting at times. Many employees prefer to use headphones to focus on their work. They are also very comfortable to wear for hours in the office or on the go. Some products irritate your skin with prolonged use. Let's be realistic, we don't use headphones all the time during the day. It's only when we need to concentrate, or when we're on a conference call, or when we want to turn on our favorite music. I wear glasses and feel comfortable in them. It doesn't push too hard and the earbuds fit over your ears. I advise you to try it yourself on the MS Store, since the experience may vary depending on the case. The battery life is enough for my usage pattern for a whole day - from commuting to the office to using in the office to working from home. I usually charge it before I'm done with work. Despite being wireless, it comes with a wired connector so you can rest assured that you can use it even when the battery is dead. The loading time is reasonable. You get 2 hours of charging in 15 minutes, which is nice. The sound quality is good. In my case, the most important aspect is the quality of the conference call and how my interlocutor hears my voice. He handles these aspects well. I think it's the little details that make this a product of choice. Circular volume control, adjustable noise-cancellation (you can minimize the noise disturbing your work or amplify the ambient noise around you), pause music when disconnected, navigate through music with taps instead of buttons, answer a call with taps, or decline and let you know how many more hours you can use the headphones while you're wearing them, and let you know what device they're connected to instead of the generic "your device is connected" (you can connect to multiple devices at the same time). Overall I recommend this product. However, I encourage you to try them out for yourself and make your own judgment as to whether these headphones will suit your needs.
