After reading some glowing reviews of it, I decided to check out this column that I came up today because I wanted to see how well it performed. If I'm being completely honest, I was hoping for a wow effect right about now; perhaps that's why my first impression was so unimpressive. As a consequence of this, I am able to say the following on its sound: it plays well, naturally, the highs are quite soft and unobtrusive, the midrange is fine, and the bottom is dry, unobtrusive, and collected. But in general, I think you should think about this speaker, which can only be heard when you are in close proximity to it. You proceed a little further, and it is already starting to get lost; the feeling of immersion vanishes abruptly, and you start to hear a speaker that is playing something there rather than music. In general, when compared to my bookshelf speakers, I can unequivocally state that the performance of my bookshelf speakers is more compelling by an order of magnitude, and this is true not only in the immediate environment. True, but there is a catch: the high frequencies on my bookshelf speakers, despite being incredibly detailed and lifelike, still dominate the overall picture. On some tracks, it sounds fine, but there are other songs when I want to pick them up more, but I don't do anything and the acoustics continue to play as they should. Therefore, when all is said and done, the Harman column - you will almost definitely enjoy it, and I, too, would like to have such a section, though not as the primary source of listening but rather as an addition.
