Review on Cirepil Blue Refill 14 11 Ounce by Danielle Smith

Very easy to use, great result!

Very easy to use and easy to clean, never pay $$$ for salon wax again! I am a regular customer of the nationwide salon franchise and it is almost identical to their hard wax. Having said that, I'm no pro and have always dreaded my visits to Wax. I wanted to try making my own as summer maintenance gets very expensive. I've been observing my beautician for many years so I knew the general procedure for applying/removing hard wax. As in the salon, I used a Gigi Pre-Epilation Powder on the area and a large epilation wand (Gigi brand) to apply the wax - using a new wand for each application. Before buying a professional heater I wanted to make sure that this wax is worth it. The first time I poured the wax balls into a glass jar and placed it in a small pot of simmering water (it sounds fun but it worked like magic and kept the wax melted at the perfect temperature!). I have very sensitive skin and have had no problems with ingrown hairs (I always exfoliate the waxy area in the shower) and no problems with irritation. Surprisingly, growing independently was almost painless. For those who say wax sticks to skin, make sure you apply enough wax for a thick strip and it comes off very easily once it cools. I highly recommend and will buy a heating pad!

Pros
  • HOW TO USE: Melt the wax (in the jar) in the Cirepil heater until it melts. After consultation, check the temperature of the wax. Prepare skin, check hair growth. Apply wax in a thin layer, also in the direction of hair growth. Remove in the reverse direction close to the skin, apply After Gel. A NOTICE. Always refer to the manufacturer's instructions before use for complete instructions.
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance
