The socks came mostly as described and in the photo (dangle a little at the heel). Knitted socks in beautiful light melange colors. They are thin but strong. Not seamless, but comfortable. They are not "not shown". At least for me. I'm the average size for my 8 to 8 1/2 feet. I feel like they are a bit too big for me. (see fig.). At the same time, they sit firmly on the leg and do not fall off. Several pairs washed at least once, everything is fine. No holes or pilling. Let's see how they hold up after a few wears/washes. I was going to give 5 stars because I love the Under Armor brand but it wasn't quite right. I have found Asics socks work best for my feet.
