Review on Clicgear Push Cart Insulated Cooler by Dewitt Bhattacharya

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Might need a redesign.

The bag looks nice when attached to a cart (I have Clicgear 3.5+) but it lacks the basic functionality that a cooler should have. First, the top lid has a hard time staying closed when there are items in the bag. After installation, the cooler is located at the bottom of the car, slightly inclined downwards. Once you put food or drink in the container, the bag tends to tilt forward causing the tiny magnets holding the lid in place to lose contact, exposing your items to the elements. Why not use lightning instead of magnets? The extra time to open the lid of the zippered fridge will be negligible, and more importantly, my stuff will stay closed. Also, I was a bit surprised to learn that the top half of the cooler is not insulated at all. There are also a few issues with the main compartment. 1st: It's on the small side. I can barely put three regular sized bottles of Gatorade on ice. Second, there is only one zipper in the main compartment, which limits my access to items in the bag. Because the fridge sits under the cart and tilts down and away from me when full, a zipper makes it difficult to open the drawer to get items out. Again, why not add another zip? 3.: The main compartment is leaking! How do I keep my drinks cool on a hot day when all the ice has melted and is dripping onto the fairway? I tried ice packs but they didn't keep the drinks cool for long. Again the package looks great on my shopping cart (hence the 2 stars) but lacks the functionality of a good fridge.
