Great camera! I would definitely buy it again. My 25ft RV was pre-connected to the Furrion camera system. I couldn't justify the extra $150 for the Furrion surveillance system, which has a smaller, lower-resolution 4.3-inch screen. The 7 inch YUWEI screen has higher resolution and supports up to 4 wireless cameras. I'll add a second one later for my clutch area. Installation was very easy. I installed it over an existing Furrion mount. I used a piece of double sided foam tape to tape the mount (with the camera removed) to the van and then pre-drilled holes in the mount and tape. I then used stainless steel pan head screws to attach the bracket. The foam tape will hold everything in place and help seal the screw holes. Then I opened up the Furrion mounting bracket, unplugged it and cut it off (make sure the camper is fully de-energized). I also had to cut a long section of the YUWEI camera cable. I drilled a small hole in the Furrion mount cover for the camera cable. I stripped the wires from the camera and the apartment building and connected them with "18-26 Gauge Posi-Twist Wire Connectors". The vehicle must be connected to the van and the headlights and/or position lights must be on before the camera will turn on. The monitor is high quality and comes with a dashboard and window mount. I used the window option and it worked great. I also liked that it simply plugs into a cigarette socket and no hardwiring is required. The picture quality exceeded my expectations. The video pauses a couple of times for just a few seconds during a recent 900-mile drive. This only happens in urban areas. I drive a Ram 1500 and tow a 25ft camper. A separate remote antenna is available for this camera for $6 if you find it oversized for your situation. I have found that this is not required in my setup. Being able to control the area behind the RV while driving is a game changer. Also, it's AMAZING to be able to see while backing up the trailer! I will never give up having a camera again.
